The Shape of Longing

The Shape of Longing

After a devastating loss, artist Julian becomes obsessed with capturing the “shape of longing” in his work. He believes he can see it in shadows, hear it in silence, and feel it in empty spaces. But as his obsession deepens, his art takes a disturbing turn, blurring the lines between grief and madness. He starts seeing his subject manifest in terrifying ways, and begins to question if he is creating the horror, or if the very act of seeking longing has summoned something truly sinister. This psychological horror examines obsession, grief, and the terrifying consequences of giving shape to intangible emotions.

Description

Haunted by loss, artist Julian seeks the invisible. He calls it the “stillness of longing”—a shape hidden in shadows, a whisper in silence, a phantom presence in empty rooms. Driven to capture it in his art, Julian delves into a world where grief becomes tangible, and the boundaries between the real and the imagined begin to fray. His canvases darken, his sculptures twist, each piece a step deeper into obsession. But as the stillness of longing takes form in terrifying ways, Julian must confront a chilling question: is he merely an artist giving shape to his grief, or has he, in his desperate seeking, awakened something truly sinister from the void he so desperately tries to fill?
